Das Restaurant sah von außen heruntergekommen aus und innen wäre eine kleine Renovierung der Möblierung wünschenswert.

Been going to Aprils for a very long time. I have to admit, it looks dirty, never see their health scores posted and their bathrooms smell so so bad like sewage!!! What the heck is happening inside their drainage system

You can’t afford to at least buy air freshener from the dollar store? Really! It stinks!!?

Well we went on Friday and the time was 8:35 and we were turned away! The male waiter motioned to me and my husband like they were “closed” with his hands. So then he asked the girl behind the front counter and she tells him no by shaking her head! It wasn’t the regular Hispanic lady. She didn’t have the courtesy to talk to us or say sorry. They close at 9 pm, I get it, it was close to closing time. But the fact that they serve super fast, we had time to eat and leave before or at 9 pm! Never had a restaurant turn us away before closing time. Also note we don’t enter like 20 minutes before closing hours. They surely didn’t appreciate our business!

That’s the worst way to lose customers and business. Also, the wait staff never talk to their regulars or any customer at their restaurant is just poor service! We just cancelled them off our restaurant list.

Fix your nasty and smelly bathrooms. Also need to display your health scores by law.

My son had the pepper steak and it was delicious. I had the Hunan chicken and it was really good: I just wished it had a little bit more sauce but it was delicious. My daughter had the chicken fried rice and it was really good as well. Overall, food was excellent and very good price for the dinner special.

I recommend Lemon chicken, Egg rolls, egg fried rice and egg drop soup. Im so glad this restaurant exists its the best thing to have happened to this world.

Update

Been years since Ive ate here, decided to try the Crispy Orange Beef, it was decent, kinda over the top on the orange flavor, too much orange peel for me, giving it a bitter flavor, had to start digging the chunks of orange out.. We also ordered the tempura shrimp, which was pretty good. Nothing overly amazing this meal, but the prices compared to other places now made it a good deal. If anything I would return just because the food is fair to good, and the prices are below average at the moment.

Service was good, food came out quick, everything tasted good.

First time dining here. Service was decent, food was decent, prices were fair.

Having passed the location many times and a friend saying the food there was decent, we decided to stop in for a meal. I ordered the General Chicken, the portion size was more than enough.

Time to get our order was decent, about 10 minutes. The place was pretty busy with people coming in to pick up orders, and it seems to be the neighborhood Chinese restaurant getting business from surrounding neighborhoods and the downtown area.

I would consider visiting again, maybe during lunch to try some other plates, but even though it wasn't disappointing, but at the same time the General Chicken wasn't impressive enough to bring me back.

Small place with only 14 square tables(a few pushed together) but it was better experience than the outside would lead you to believe.

Very delicious food. They gave actual bottles(!) when I asked for big red. No off tasting fountain for me. Cheese Rangoon is just like it states, cream cheese only.

The place had a small TV on but other than that the only sound was from conversations going on.

Edit: forgot a person at our table said the tea wa very sweet and they didn't like the rice as much as their triple delight

Ok this restaurant is exactly what I've been looking for while here in Texas. It's some tasty, oily, good American Chinese food!!

The special that they have is a great deal because you get your entree with a simplified version of their fried rice, egg drop soup, and deep fried wonton crackers.

I really liked the beef and broccoli. The sauce was tasty and the beef was tenderizes and chewy. We also had the sesame chicken which was delicious.

We eat a lot of rice so we also got extra pork fried rice. The pork they used was really good and meaty. We were impressed!

It looks like the restaurant has a small number of seats inside. We opted to drive in and order take out. I was impressed with how fast our food was prepared while we waited at the take out window.

This place is a true American Chinese food experience!
