My husband and I were in the process of making some big design decisions for our first house and felt like we needed some direction and advice. We found Decorator Girl through online searches and really liked the look of the photos on the blog (they were very similar to our taste), so we decided to contact her to see if she would come to our house for a first meeting. And I'm so glad we did! Liz and Melissa from Decorator Girl are good at what they do and just seem to be really good people, too. They were prompt, professional and very helpful. They were responsive and easy to talk with; I felt comfortable asking them questions. We met with them twice, first to talk about what we were trying to achieve, and second to narrow-down our choices. They were positive and upbeat, respectful of our time and theirs, and helped us try to articulate what we wanted for our home. Ultimately they were able to help us with choices for flooring and interior paint. I felt more confident with our design decisions as a result of working with them. I will definitely go back to them again for later projects. If you're looking for someone to consult with on decisions you're making for your home, I would definitely recommend meeting with Liz and Melissa from Decorator Girl!

I like reviews that are short and sweet: Liz is awesome! Great personality and no nonsense. After spending hours in the design studio when we built our house, we then spent one hour with Liz and knocked it all out! She has since been back to our house and is helping us once again. She is simply the best!

An hour with Liz was an hour well-spent! She quickly picked up on my design style, provided some great general decorating tips, and then shared specific ideas (including photos, sources for pieces, and rough sketches) to help us get started on transforming our home, one room at a time. I feel inspired and much more focused after her visit.

Liz was great to work with in helping me decide on finishing touches for my living room. She came in right away and started moving furniture/art around and made the room look so much better just by moving pieces!!!! She gave lots of great advice on things to purchase and add to finish off the space! I will definitely be calling her again for other projects!
